It’s time for Fibrous, Starknet’s first DEX Aggregator, to expand its horizons. Fibrous is now venturing into the EVM environment, and our first stop is Scroll!

A bit of history…

It’s been an incredible journey! As the Fibrous team, we introduced you to Starknet’s first DEX Aggregator on August 13, 2022. Since then, we’ve continuously achieved milestones. The Fibrous contract has successfully facilitated millions of dollars in swap transactions. But we didn’t stop there — soon after, we launched the Batch Swap feature, enabling users to swap multiple tokens in a single transaction, not just single tokens!

Next, we introduced the Limit Order feature. This allows users to execute swaps at their desired price instead of just at the current market price — another first as an aggregator on Starknet!

We didn’t forget about NFTs either; by integrating them into Fibrous, we introduced the first-ever NFT utility on Starknet, allowing StarkRock NFT holders to swap without paying any fees.

Everything has been going smoothly and excitingly for us, and we began working on adding even more thrilling features to Fibrous!

Starknet… Perfect! But what’s next?

From day one, Starknet has been an exhilarating platform for us, and we take pride in being the first and best DEX Aggregator on this promising Ethereum-based validity rollup. We’re not ending our operations on Starknet — in fact, we are planning to introduce new features to the platform.

The EVM integration brought up by Kakarot sparked an idea within our team: how would it be to run Fibrous in an EVM environment? As a team that never hesitates to try new things, we developed a prototype of Fibrous compatible with EVM environments.

The results exceeded our expectations, and then we thought: why not fully support an EVM environment? With the support of our community, we began and completed the work to make Fibrous fully EVM compatible.

Our first stop is now Scroll and we owe a lot of our success to the Fibrous community. Their feedback and suggestions have been invaluable in shaping the platform into what it is today. As we move to Scroll, we’ve taken user feedback to heart, particularly when it comes to the UI/UX experience. We’ve redesigned the interface based on community suggestions to ensure that Fibrous remains intuitive and user-friendly, reflecting the needs of our users at every step.

As part of our transition to Scroll, we have eliminated all swap fees on the platform. It is just free for now!

What comes after Scroll?

While our current focus is on making Fibrous the best it can be on Scroll, we have exciting plans for the future. After refining our platform on Scroll, we aim to expand Fibrous across other EVM-compatible chains. This is just the beginning of a larger journey. Our long-term goal is to evolve Fibrous into a fully decentralized platform governed by its community, complete with revenue-sharing mechanisms that allow users to benefit from the success they help create. We believe in a future where the community has a say in every aspect of the platform, ensuring that Fibrous always aligns with the needs and desires of its users.

Thus, Scroll is just the beginning — a small step for us, but a giant leap for Fibrous.
